THE PRESTIGIOUS East Africa Golf Challenge 2017 championship is likely to be held at the stunning 18-hole Kili Golf & Wild Resort Golf course later next year.
With its spectacular situate inside the woods of Kilimanjaro, golfers from across the world will be itching for the swing towards the count-down to the tee especially with the inviting opportunity to play alongside rare Fiona gaping.
Tanzania took the mantle as host nation from Ethiopia last October despite a lack luster performance from Team Tanzania who finished forth behind winners Uganda, Kenya and Ethiopia.
Whether the hosts make a cut on top of the leader board remains to be seen come October 2017, but the bushy scenery thronged by protected game as well as surrounding wild provides a not to miss gate away for the ordinary golfer.
TGU Chairman Joseph Tango is convinced the event will inspire local golf development when he says:
“Our young golfers will get a chance to play alongside the best in East Africa. At least 12 nations will be competing and we look forward to the exposure particularly for our growing youth golf.”
