TANZANIA’s golf season continues in the final quarter of next month when the 2016 edition of Northern Province Open Golf Tournament launches at the Arusha Gymkhana Golf Course May 21st 2016.

The 36- hole event popular with its motivating history of mingling golf and nature in a wonderful golf setting overlooking the roof of Africa – Mt. Kilimanjaro, is expected to attract golfers from across the region in Rwanda, Burundi, Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan, DRC, and Ethiopia.

And although no sponsor has shown any indulgence, organizer- the TGU is working around the clock to ensure golfers are not left lonely at the first tee.

TGU Chairman Joseph Tango was in an imposing mood when he said the challenging par 72 will set the stage for a new golfing edifice that will unite golfers across the East African golfing landscape.

He said: “Playing golf in Arusha is one of the most enterprising golfing adventures. This year’s event is a not-to miss for any golfer. It will be an imposing atmosphere between nature and golf and I would like to invite all beginners to come and share a wonderful golfing experience at this particularly evergreen golfing scenery.”
